Elon Musk has recently tweeted that Tesla’s Cybertruck is going to be the official Mars vehicle. Though the car is already strong, can it withstand the red planet’s atmosphere? The Mars vehicles will be pressurized and be built on readily available materials. Since air pressure in Mars is less dense than Earth’s, vehicles should have breathable air inside for humans. The stainless steel material will be cut and bent into place instead of stamping and pressing. The truck’s skin would be 3 millimeters thick, sealed, and airtight.
